What do we feel when we walk in different spaces? Do we associate certain feelings with past events or experiences in our lives, or do we want to invent new narratives for ourselves as part of our relationships with the landscapes we are in? 

Zona is an experimental film, completed in 2016, and uses a mix of digital video, analogue Super 8 film and still images. It explores sensations of walking in mostly rural landscapes with an emphasis on the South Downs National Park at its eastern end and the South Downs Way long distance footpath.
